Baby Swimming Lessons for Toddlers
Turtles
Our Turtles class is for swimmers aged 2-3 years who have good water confidence and are comfortable submerging under the water.
Children at this age often become aware of the water as a different environment and the activities and skills in this level are essential for helping the swimmers embrace and love the water.
We encourage our Turtles to start interacting with each other and classes are a fun social environment for both the swimmers and the caregivers. Our instructors in this level encourage caregivers to move at the pace of their swimmer with many options provided to keep them stimulated and progressing.
Class Details
Classes in this level are 30mins long. Caregivers are in the water with their children and are now taking on a more supporting role. Children entering this level must be happy submerging under the water and comfortable in a pool environment.
Class Content
Our Turtles will become independent with basic water safety skills and as they progress they will start to develop key swimming styles.
Lessons will be a balanced mix of songs, games and activities as well as learning new skills.
What to Bring
A disposable or reusable nappy to go under your wetsuit/waterproof nappy. We recommend Huggies Little Swimmers.
A waterproof nappy or wetsuit, we recommend the Happy Nappies or Splash Jammers or the Zoggs Swimsure Nappy.
Child goggles, we recommend Zoggs or Speedo brand.
Appropriate togs/swimwear for the caregiver participating in the lesson.
